-T observes then presents the lesson, Ss listen.
-T presents the situation of the letter: “Nga was sick and she had to go to the hospital, she wrote a thank-you to Hoa”. Ss listen.
-T has Ss read the letter and complete it, use the correct tense form of the verbs in brackets.
-Ss work in pairs, give key.
-T corrects, marks.
-T presents, explains the title of exercise 2) and questions. Ss listen.
-T has Ss ask and answer the questions. Ss work in pairs (close pairs, open pairs).
