I.Aim.
-By the end of the lesson, students will be able to talk about days of week vocabulary, ask and answer about subjects they have learnt and when they learn those subjects.
II.Language contents :
- Grammar: When do we have history?
We have it on Tuesday and Thursday.
-Vocabulary: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday.
III.Techniques :
- Networks, slap the board, noughts and crosses.
IV.Teaching aids :
- A cassette.

Content
-T. has ss list subjects on the board. Ss list them.
-T. observes, marks.
-T. presents the lesson. Ss listen.
-T. presents new words , reads them. Ss listen, repeat and copy them in their notebooks.
-T. has ss read the words aloud. Ss read them.
-T. observes.
-T. divides the class into 2 groups. Each group has 4 students, students stand at an equal distance from the board. T. calls out the English word, 2 students from each group run forward and slap the vietnamese word on the board. The student slapping the correct first word is the winner and gets one point for his / her group. Go on until students have slapped all the words.
-T. presents model sentences, writes them on the board and reads them. Ss listen, write them and repeat after T.
-T. has ss practice the model sentences in pairs Ss work in pairs.
- T. has ss listen to the tape, then T. plays it. Ss listen to it.
-T. has ss listen to the tape and repeat, then T. plays the tape. Ss listen and repeat.
-T. has ss read the days of week. Ss read them.
-T. observes, then T. presents the situation of the dialogue C3, page 59. Ss listen.
-T. has ss listen to the tape and repeat, then T. plays the tape. Ss listen and repeat.
-T. has ss practice the dialogue with a parnter . Ss practice before the class in pairs.
-T. guides ss to play the game, then T. gives examples. Ss take notes and play the game.
